My stuff is beautiful and in perfect condition, many of the things are boutique items, but I never cared for high-end designers stuff and that seems to be all consignment shops cater to and you cant trust THEM either. I feel the creepiest aspects of the platform is the psychological manipulation of requiring resellers to share (presenting it as a positive community activity sellers supporting other sellers) so that the mysterious algorithm will reward them with sells; sharing equals free labor driving the activity of the platform, which the same resellers pay more to use than other selling platforms. I finally sent a comment to ask if she could let me know if the top was still available, and that I was worried Posh was going to cancel the sale. Another was a brand new rose gold watch she got next to nothing!! Once I launched my store, I never had anyone send me an offer for anything on my site. I have been selling on Poshmark for 8 months now i do average to sell just over a 100 items per month on Poshmark. And good luck with your sales , Good to read all these because since I became active in Pm in Jan I have experienced all this, even PM doing nothing about a creepy, unsafe member I reported and emailed. I believe many of these problems could be fixed with genuine concern in the form of superior customer service. And I no longer can post it as new. I had exactly the same issue with my listing returned back to me, even if I have a photos before wrapping the item, and sent to poshmark support for evidence that it was not the same when it got back to me poshmark will never take your side. List On Tradesy, etsy, eBay, and as many websites as you can so that you dont get caught up in PoshMarks TIME SUCK MACHINE and squander your weekends away. I found two types of trolls exist on Poshmark. It isnt their decision how I manage my business (and therefore my finances). The buyer has to provide photo proof showing how the item does not match the listing description. I checked everywhere in their faq but found nothing on the subject.
